About Me
My name is Shadi and I am a trauma-informed and integrative psychotherapist in Los Angeles, California. I offer a holistic and somatic approach that integrates the wisdom of the mind, body, and spirit to support you in healing. My therapeutic orientation is rooted in liberation, queer, and conscious of the impact that systems of oppression have on mental health.
I am an Iranian American and a bilingual (Farsi) therapist who enjoys working with folks from different cultural backgrounds and my work deeply honors the unique intersections of identity we all inhabit. I love working with tender-hearted, playful, and curious individuals who have an appreciation for the greater mystery that resides within us and the larger world.

Approach to Therapy
My practice offers heart-led therapy and a tender place to land. Your body holds profound wisdom and my work aims to honor that. I incorporate modalities such as EMDR and IFS (parts work) to help you resolve painful parts of your story and cultivate a more compassionate lens of your inner world. My practice and personal experience is also informed by traditional and indigenous healing traditions so integrating the wisdom of the mind, body, spirit, and Earth is important to me.
Compassion is central to my work and I am devoted to creating a therapeutic space that supports others in coming into deeper union and acceptance with themselves. In our sessions we may be weaving together the mystical and the practical, the spiritual and the psychological—which may look like working with nature, dreams, archetypes, mindfulness, and rituals. Together, we will collaborate to determine the best approach to therapy for you.
